| Started in 1926, the Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Bela, Muzaffarpur, and affiliated as a branch of the Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math in July 2003, has been serving the people of North Bihar through its religious, medical and humanitarian services, with the twin ideals of self-realisation and service to humanity as preached by the great Swami Vivekananda. |

| Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama - Muzaffarpur, arranged a flood relief camp, where in food packets were distributed. Free medical aid was arranged for the needy. |

RKM Sevashrama carries out many activites, ie. pre-school education, free medical aid, food for poor and destitute, teach the people skills which help them earn a living, etc.
